This year Blaxcell Street is involved in three debating programs.

The first is the Premier's Debating Challenge. Four Students will be participating in three seperate debates against schools from all around our region.
They are only given one hour to prepare before they have to get up and present their debate. If they are sucessful they will be able to represent our region at the semi finals.

The second is the Granville/Strathfield School Educational Area Debating Program. Nine students will work together in varying teams to participate in five debates against our local schools.
These students will have the opportunity to work together in the weeks before the debate to prepare a full-proof case! If they are successful they will be able to progress through to the semi finals and finals.

The third program is aimed at advancing the way in which we communicate with others. The participants will be debating a team from Plumpton Public School using the video conferencing equipment in the computer lab! What an amazing experience!
